Spirit and Portal
As a Portal to meditation, the Gong can be a simple and effective entry point to a balanced, restorative state where the healing and repair can take place. Combined with Aromatherapy, which has the capacity to influence emotion and imprint memory, this meditation can have an enduring impact on the mind, body and spirit.
Offering a moment of quiet reflection, these gatherings feature a selection of oils that highlight and honor the season, followed by a 20 minute gong meditation to balance the nervous system and encourage a release of tension and stress. Sessions begin with gentle breathing and humming to warm up, soften and set the stage for relaxation and create a calm and intentional container.

“My group of women joined Amy for a gong session in her beautiful, serene space. After receiving a lovely handmade bag with dried flowers and an aromatherapy blend made specifically for us (in honor of the pink moon that night), we settled in for a powerful, relaxing gong session that she expertly facilitated.
It was deeply meditative, and allowed me to access a sense of calm I didn’t think possible in the relatively short period of time that the session lasted. I felt both energized and at peace, closer to my friends having shared the experience with them. I look very much forward to sharing this space with Amy again, and allowing her to guide me.”
“Having never been to a gong meditation we went in to Amy’s studio with not knowing exactly what to expect. We were welcome with a cozy fire and lavender sachets. Amy talked a little about the types of gongs and the sounds they make before we closed our eyes and let the sound waves wash over us. My husband saw colors and I felt energy flowing through my arthritic knees - upon standing the pain I’d experienced prior to arriving at the studio was now gone. That relief lasted for the rest of the day . It was the most relaxing experience and we look forward to coming back for more.”
“When can we come back?”
